Their are also Rx-7's,R31 Skylines, and MR2's.The R32 Skyline will be availible here in 2004 at a starting price of $14,000 cdn. That is a hell of a lot cheaper than going through Motorex, but I don't know if it would be legal their. Here is the link to the importers site. www.jns-imports.com AkinaSpeedStar 09-06-2003, 01:29 AM Their mistaken, yes their is Nissan Silvias in Canada, their all S13's,but their here. And Canada doesnt have any with sr20det's unless you get it done urself (the swap). AkinaSpeedStar 09-06-2003, 02:34 PM well that sux, how much for the conversion you think? Silvia_Drifter 09-06-2003, 02:55 PM By conversion do you mean the motor swap? Just because you can get an s14 or s15 conversion on ur car so i am just confused bout which one ur asking about AkinaSpeedStar 09-06-2003, 06:00 PM motor swap, s15, i found a 2000 silvia on ebay once, it was like 25000 american. how much would the moter swap cost? or what if i where to drop a skyline motor in there? Shiftlock 09-06-2003, 07:51 PM What I was saying is that jns-imports,imports real S13's from Japan into Alberta Canada.Did anybody check out the website, that year of the S13 Silvia used the CA18DET,the SR20DET didn't come 90-91.Please click the link and tell me these are 240sx's,the RHD should be a dead give away. http://www.jns-imports.com/list/japanese/nissan_silvia/s13_series1.htm Your from the U.S though,so even if you imported one to Canada,it wouldn't be street legal in the U.S for 10 more years. But yes their are Silvias availible for Canada,if you want a car to be driven on the street, then you'll have to take a 240sx and swap out the KA24DE,for the SR20DET. It is easier and cheaper to drop in the S14 motor, the S15 one needs custom tranny mounts and some minor mods, plus it costs around $2000+ more. The only thing your missing out on is a 6th gear and 30hp,but the 6th gear was thin anyways. AkinaSpeedStar 09-06-2003, 08:46 PM that link did not go to anything, thanks for the info, i hate the u.s all the good cars are not here Shiftlock 09-06-2003, 08:54 PM that link did not go to anything, thanks for the info, i hate the u.s all the good cars are not here my fault,I forgot to add the l to the html. http://www.jns-imports.com/list/japanese/nissan_silvia/s13_series1.html that should work. AkinaSpeedStar 09-06-2003, 09:07 PM thanx, the link works now jdm89supratt 10-23-2003, 12:57 AM i just ordered a 1988 nissan silvia k's and it is only costing me like 3100$ canadian. It has the ca18det motor in it turboed with only 10,000 kms on it. Im getting it shipped from japan. OK the rule in canada is that you can import a car 15 years or older with no hassel at all. So all you people in canada wanting a skyline you will be able to get them. The 89 model that is. If anyone in canada wants to go and pay that company you have the link to, your going to get ripped off big time. They have 1986 skyline on there and there selling it for 9600$, an 89 skyline gts turbo 5spd is only like 2000$ plus around 1000$ shipping, so if you wanna get ripped by that company go for it. If you want me to import you one with just my simple fees around 1500$ for registration getting the car and stuff, ill be more then glad to do it for you. Just leave a message on what car you want and ill see if i can get it for yah. This is only avaible to canada residents, im sorry usa, im not going to try and get around your regulations to much bullshit to deal with, like the dot and the epa. Since when did Nissan make a SR18 engine. The only engiine the Silvias came with was a CA18DET and a SR20DET.I know you ment CA,because that is what the 88 Silvia K's came with. But you could always swap it out and get around it.That is probably the only way you could get it to pass smog. jdm89supratt 10-24-2003, 12:08 AM yah i did mean the ca18det iono what i was typing it as late, but yah where i live there is no smog regulations. So all i have to is bring it over register it and insure it and i can drive it all day long and night. Silvias are cheap in Japan.I seen a nicely modifiied one that came to $3400 CDN.If you know japanese, then you'll always get the better deal.
