Do I need to repaint for body kit?

Hello, this is my first post. I just got my 240sx a couple days ago from an auction. Its a 95, its in pretty good condition except for the front bumper which has a dent and some missing paint. The color is purple (factory color I believe). I was going to replace the front bumper with a body kit one i found here:
http://www.grounddynamics.com/merchant/mainpage.htm
Anyways, my question is will i need to get my bumper painted, or the entire car? I really like the factory purple color (looks like grape soda), and thought it would be cheaper to just paint the body kit. anyone know how much the whole operation would cost (including attatching the body kit) Thanks!

PS: I'm getting side skirts to match

PPS: Sorry for the long post! :frown:

i wouldn't trust that site it has a pic of "invader skirts" they obviously come from the Vielside website.

u have to get the kits sanded and painted, cause they probably wont come painted. i suggest u get the whole car repaints. a nice paint job will cost u bout 2-4k. or u can go welfare and go to macco :bloated: :headshake

All knock-off shit

Not the real deal that's why the prices are low

As far as painting goes, if you get all the pieces that you're going to fit painted at a good quality paint shop, they should be able to match the paint to exactly what's on your car. Ask around and see what paint places have good reputations etc.

If I were you though, I'd just get a repaint over the whole outer body with a colour that very closly matches your existing job. This way your car will look like new, and your engine bay will still be the same colour as the rest of your car. This way will cost more than just painting the add-ons, but it'll be cheaper than getting your car completly white bodied. Plus you'll get a gorgeous new shine!
