2gen to a 3gen front clip conversion???

Ok does anyone know if you can convert a 2gen integ to a 3gen. I love the frontend of the 3rd but I imagine it would be a huge project and a pain in the ass. I don't want to just buy a 3gen cause I love mine too much...
