Ram or cold air intake and filter removal

sorry if this seems just stupid to you but when you install a ram air or coldair intake on a 2.5 rs would you remove the rectangular air filter already in the box?

Since you are replacing the factory 'filter in a box' you will want to remove the factory unit.

Where else are you going to put the after-market unit?:wink:

thanks freakray i guess the automotive side of me was not awake thismorning. yes ldelaysionl one of the few and proud TS owners. everyone knows we rule the streets. *jumps up, yells, sees wrx, sits down* well sortof.

Does it help if I want to own a TS?
I have a 98 RS which the wifey drives right now and I want to get myself a TS.
