probally high 16's. i ran a 10.29 in the 1/8th with just intake and exhaust on my 93 ls. it was hot as hell. bad tires. and needed a tuneup.

i ran 16.8 on the 1/4 on my 91 integra (i have a 90 integra now) which had intake and exhaust. it was a sea-level track but it was in shit condition and the pavement was cold and the air was hot. i launched at 2000rpm on a slipping clutch and had bad tires, needed tuneup too.

with my 90gs (only an intake at the time) i beat my friends 95 ls with intake, exhaust, straight pipe, plugs, wires, short shifter so i think that my 91 integra just really needed a tuneup...

u make be joking around, but if not, they're legit reasons. bad tires, thas a tenth, slipping clutch there's half-full tenth an the launch would have bogged him down. they're all legit reasons for a poor time.

Might be legit, but I doubt they are true. I don't think anyone would race if their car if they didn't think their car was ready. Would you go racing with a slipping clutch?

Ive seen 16.4's in Albuquerque(high elevation) so maybe 15's depending on where you live and drivin skill and if its a 5 spd.

1/4 mile times vary with your mods and trim level due to weight.
My 92 teg rs weighs in at 2400 stock and I was able to pull a 15.748
with an open exhaust a tight valve lash adjustment and a slight timing advance. Also the intake is stoke with just the resonator removed from the font corner.

Similar mods will vary to a 90-91 car since they are down 10hp already. The other cars such as the ls and gs add weight with a sunroof, abs , and power windows. You can look for stock times to be in the mid to low 16's for the ls/gs models 92-93

speaking of neons, i'd like to see a timeslip of that 14.8 second SOHC neon. SOHC neons are slow as hell, and with a couple bolt ons, its not going to be as fast as a decked out GSR like the other guy in this post..

I have more than what is stated in my sig and I also did a lot of weight redux, car started out at a lil over 2300lbs, it is a lot lighter now. But anyway I will get a slip up ASAP.

I'm not here to flame, so stop with the "you drive a Neon bullcrap." Its old, immmature and has to stop. Stick to the subject. I just find it odd that someone would take their car to the track if it wasn't ready and perfect working condition.

because:

1.) i was a newb at cars at the time (didnt know how to launch or shift very fast, thought i did, but realized after that i didnt)
2.) i didnt KNOW that it was in bad shape until after i went
3.) i wanted to have fun... didnt care about the 1/4 time
4.) i knew i wasnt going to do good but i wanted to hang out with some friends... the track is like 90 minutes from my town so i knew absolutely nobody who was there so what could i be scared of ... making a bad impression to all the people who ill never again, in my life, see again?

That whole "you drive a neon" crap might get old but it's still true. You just sick of hearing it cause nobody likes them. I'm gonna call BS on that 1/4 mile time too becuase I've seen DOHC neons with all the bolt ons do low 16's plus I really doupt a 4 door neon weighs 2300lbs stock. I might be wrong on that one but it just doesn't seem right.
Now to racing on a slippiong clutch....I've done it and who cares ? You're not gonna get the best ever time with one but you also don't have to worry about burning up your clutch. Plus I like to race for fun more than anything else and I'm sure most other people do too.

Go take a look on MSN, a base Neon sedan with a MTX transmission weighs in at a whopping 2324lbs. DOHC Neons with an MTX should run mid to low 15's stock with an experienced driver. SOHC should run high 15 to low 16 with an MTX and an experiend driver. The cars with automatics are a completely diferent story, they are as slow as $hit.

I really have seen fast neons before like you said in the 15's pretty much stock. The whole experienced driver thing helps too. There are too many sh*$ heads who shift too early instead of at redline when they are racing; then they don't understand why the other guy with the same car runs 5-6 thenths better.:sly:

Ok I think the 14.8 is BS, but there is two guys here at the races that I go to that have dohc neons, don't know what they got but they give me a decent race they are hitting 14.9's, but they also have the drivers seat and nothing else in the car and one has a carbom fiber hood and a carbon fiber trunk. They also won't let you look under the hood like it is a big secret WTF. Anyway that time is possible with a heavy modded dohc, but noit a sohc, sorry unless you have a turbo or nitrous that is not possible, in fact I think you just copied it from krnxracer's sig you just changed one number, it is obveous so give it up already:grinno:
