Just curious, but has anyone ever thought about importing one from Japan. I've seen them a lot cheaper, but would you still have to pay all the legalization fee's that would go with a skyline?

As has been posted on nearly every other thread, it is very difficult and quite expensive to import a car. Unless the car is more than 30 years old, the car must be brought up to US spec. Even though Supras were sold in the US, Japanese-spec Supras are not the same as US-spec models. Unless the car was built to EPA/NHTSA standards (and the vehicle has badges stating as much), it will cost thousands of dollars to convert it. It would be much less expensive to buy one in the US.

its well worth the money though, because having a right hand drive Supra will make you a more unique person.
