BOOM Gr1pper 11-17-2001, 02:16 PM Figures I have say 7 psi stock and 12 psi max. ( .7 bar = 10.5 psi and 1.2 bar = 18 psi). Kin, big difference !!! - anyone confirm either of these figures? mmcc 11-17-2001, 05:52 PM 12 PSI max , is about 0.822 Bar. Is that the max the R33 can produce? that isn't alot.. hehe.. thanks for your imput .. =) blacksky33 11-17-2001, 06:01 PM it is 12psi for s/2 and 14psi for s/1 mmcc 11-17-2001, 11:21 PM 14 psi is t he MAXIMUM Boost the turbo can handle right? Is there a reason why it is so low? thank you. Jay95R33 11-18-2001, 04:01 AM Yepp, the heat and speed (shaft speed) caused by running higher boost will heat up the adhesive used to bond the ceramic wheel to the steel shaft. When the adhesive doesn't do it's job, the ceramic wheel will spin off the shaft and end up somewhere it's not meant to be!!!!! For the Series 2's substiute the word "Ceramic" for Plastic!!! They are great factory turbo's, they just have a limit that is lower than other factory turbo's. J :bloated: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
