Hey first off, forgive me if this has been posted already. I live in the southeast about 20 miles away from unstablehybrids and when i went and checked them out, their prices were a little high. I found a place in Tampa called XAT Racing

that does most swaps for 240s.

They wouldnt give me a solid price but said for about 5000 in parts for the engine and tranny, plus 1500 installation, I could have a complete rb25det swap done in a few weeks. Of course, you could always get a full clip off ebay for around 3500.

So basicly, for 5000, or about the cost of an sr20 swap, you can have yourself this highly upgradeable 6cyl beast.

As for rb26-not even worth it, most places charge upwards of 12k for the parts alone and should be left for those looking for show, not go; (or for those who happen to have the greeen) :thefinger

1500 for a swap.. that is f'in dirt cheap. i'm definately keeping those people bookmarked.

actually, the website says it's 2000, but after i talked 2 one of the guys for a while, he said he's do it for 15 so hey at least they bargain

venus auto sells rb25det swaps for under 2k and I can get the hook up on instalation in just a few days and for less $$ than unstable. Drop me a mail gtrhybrid@yahoo.com
