Howdy!
I am changing radios in my 1976 Chevrolet pickup. I am replacing the original Delco AM Radio with a Delco AM/FM Stereo 8-Track Radio.
The wiring is somewhat different between the two radios. I know which are the speaker wires.
But where I need help: On one of the wiring clips, the Stereo Radio has the following wires: Black, Gray, and two Yellow wires. The original AM radio has a Black, Gray, and only one Yellow wire.
My questions: Why does the Stereo Radio have two Yellow wires, what are they for, and how can I tell one Yellow wire from the other one?
An auxiliary question(on the speakers): When wiring the speakers, how can I be sure to get the polarity wired correctly?
Thanks much for any help you can give.
