Who made this bench seat???

Can anyone tell me what car this bench seat came out of?

the elongated headrest and circle tufts give it away..
1973-1978 Chevy Chevelle/Malibu/Laguna

Thanks! I thought it might be a mid 70s Malibu, but the previous owners swears they were from a 72 Pontiac Lemans. Could he be right?

If you look at the seat brackets, aren’t the seat brackets from 72 and earlier?
