Stupid question, is it possible that the black area in the center of the nose piece has been sanded, but not polished?

Stupid question, is it possible that the black area in the center of the nose piece has been sanded, but not polished?

All painted work will polish car body, Then you can do the painted work. this model use carbon decal build that. So the centre of nose. we use carbon decals build that.
