Hazards come on when I signal

2001 Camry LE

When I signal, my hazards come on. Sometimes it happens for a few minutes and clears up (signals work normal). It doesn't seem to be temperature related. The signals have not worked in the afternoon and worked fine at night and vice versa.
It's getting to be less intermittent and more common (hazards when signaling)

I can turn the hazards on and off at the switch.



Pulled headlight bulbs and signal bulbs. Checked fuses that deal with lights, they're good.

If you have a separate fuse for the Hazard signal, pull the fuse and see if that solves the problem. If it doesn't solve it, it would imply that there is an intermittent cross-connection in the harness somewhere (both power touch through worn insulation). If removing the hazard fuse solves the problem, then I think that means that the problem lies within the hazard circuit. Just guessing...

It was the flasher relay.
