coolant on driveway floor.==
small coolant leak. passenger side nearest to fire wall area. no coolant trail seen.
a few drops on the bottom corner of engine block.
mechanic says maybe it,s coming thru the timing chain cover.
will tighten the bolts.
thanks for any advice.

If a coolant pressure test doesn't show the source, than add coolant dye and use a black light...
I am guessing a 3.4, and lower intakes are famous for leaking...

It's possible that the TC cover is leaking. It's more probable that the corner of the intake or water pump would be a source.

my back yard mechanic replaced the water pump about 10 days(?) ago.. it had a residue around the seep hole so we figured that was it.
the manifold gasket was replaced years ago with a metal felpro.
car has about 280,000 miles on it now.
curious thing= I,ve been having vacuum problems for a while. wonder if there,s a connection to this coolant leak somehow?
