Any information about 02R?

I was wondering if anyone had any information on chassis 02R? I saw it at Goodwood last week - beautiful car!

I think this chassis was 'lost' for a while if irc? Any idea who the owner is?

Never been lost, ( :) ) just been under one owner ship really long time at the past.
#02R is one of the most successful GTRs scoring 6 wins in 1995 season including the opening round in Jerez, it was the first ever race driven by F1 GTR, it also was fourth in 1995 Le Mans and won British GT Championship 1996 ran by Lanzante Motorsport.

Very unique car, very special history, today very good hands and yes, it looks stunning on the road. :)

To expand on the above reply, #02R was the first GTR to win a race for Mclaren, winning by 16 seconds its first race in Jerez in February 1995 driven by Ray Bellm and Maurizio Sandro Sala and finished 4th at Le Mans in 1995. It's the most successful GTR in having the most race wins, having raced in the 1995 BPR Global GT Series and 1996 seasons. It was owned by one of the drivers who raced it in the 1996 season [who had it road converted towards the middle of 2000 whilst in its Lanzante paint scheme] after Ray's initial ownership before being passed to a multi-F1 and F1GTR owner over the years before passing to its current, really rather :cool: owner ;).

The car from the middle of 201 is in its Suzuka 1995 livery [it came 1st after qualifying 4th] that harks to the Le Mans winning UENO Clinic livery. It also has another full set of body panels in its original GULF livery :cool:.
