'14 Sonata or '14 Rogue

Hello all,

I own a 2014 Sonata GLS with 28k miles. Has heated seats, rear camera, power driver seat. Was in an accident a few months ago (front and rear). Someone pushed me into the person in front of me. All is repaired, however the car is now depreciated.

My mother's '14 Rogue's lease is ending. She only put 10k miles on it. Has AWD (live in NY). Has the camera, but no heated or power seats.

My mother's car is worth more than the buyout price of according to KBB and the like. I can probably get $9k from a dealer (really don't want the hassle of private sale).

I prefer an SUV: like being higher up, would be easier to put a car seat in the future, easier for older relatives to get in/out.

Questions: would no longer having a warranty like hyundai's be foolish? Would you get the rogue if it cost around $3k after the trade in?

Thank you in advance for your help.
