Looking for the Fernando Pinto Aston Martin RHAM #1 resin kit in 1/24, the seller must be in the USA, I tried to buy this directly from Mr.Pinto in Portugal but both the USPS and Portugal CTT Correios terrible service made a mess of the shipping and Mr. Pinto and I deside was better to cancel the transaction and avoid possible loss of model if send a second time around.

SOooo, if any fellow member in the USA have this Aston Martin RHAM competition coupe and is willing to sell, dropme a line and your asking price, will be using paypal as method of payment.

Thanks in advance!

Fred.

So what? If it ships from Portugal is not good enough for you?!

IF you have taken the opportunity to READ my explanation and WHAT was the problem when I first ordered directly from Mr.Pinto.....I did explain VERY clearly is was not Mr.Pinto fault...it was the TWO postal systems on handling the delivery of this international package...your rude replay could have been avoided.

Anyway I have found a fellow modeler who was very kind and sold me his Aston Martin model, so no longer looking for one.

The next time you replay to a topic...READ IT FIRST and try not to be rude...it seems you live in Europe?...mmmm....some day you may have a similar problem and would have to resort to the same solution I had to do.

You had once an issue with a post delivery, it happens every now and then to everyone, it doesn't mean it is the rule and it shouldn't mean you have to buy everything only from within the USA.

Yes I live in Europe and I order kits and parts from all over the world, without any fears or prejudices.

GOOD FOR YOU!!!....about "prejudices or fears"...don't have any...infact and ONCE MORE if you read my initial post...I purchased the kit DIRECTLY from Mr.Pinto in PORTUGAL...no "fear or prejudice" towards him,his country or postal services, the problem of delivery was because the handling by the two postal services miss communication, the package was return to Mr.Pinto about 3 weeks latter, he inmediatly communicate with me and letvme know the problem...we look at the options and he check with his country postal system and I DID THE SAME with mine...USPS...and the TWO postal services said almost the SAME THING..."it could happen the same thing..unless another service was used..like EMS/International Express.

Mr.Pinto very kindly offer to send the model once more...but we discuss the situation...and by the look of the returned box containing the model...all bent up...he and I desided to cancel the deal to avoid possible damage or loss to the model, he refunded my FULL amount lighting fast, he is a true gentleman and offer superb scale model kits...thats why I wanted to aquire this model in any other way possible...if you CARE to look or ASK...Mr.Pinto sells his models directly, he do not have a international distributor or sale outlet outside Portugal, thats WHY I was looking to buy from a FELLOW MODELER who might have one already and was willing to part with it.
I did NOT have the obligation to explain the whole delivery problem here, but your rude and some what offensive tone towards the idea that I might have "fear and predujice" to deal with persons outside the USA jurisdiction and the problems thos may cause with fellow members and friends that I have here which live all around the globe, promt me to give a clarification of your asumption and opinion that this was the case....in fact...where I live...I could say have receive a fair share of "fear and prejudice" from some..a very small minority...of european sellers...so I DO KNOW the difference and how it feels.

I really hate when someone give "statements, opinions and views" without knowing the full facts of the problem....ohhh...wait...I DID...but STILL ......

What about going to a parcel service like FedEx, Purolator or DHL?

This way you avoid the traps of often complicated government entities like the USPS.
