Ok, I am working on a jeep, its the amt dukes of hazard one(daisy jeep). I have some big 4x4 tires on it, and I lifted it. But I am trying to DIAMOND PLATE the corners and some other little things. I have an idea on how to do this...glue something on the body to make the diamond design, then BMF it. What do you guys think of that, ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? Here is a pic of the diamond plate design, I know its a golf cart, only pic I could find.

Did you try the model railroad supplies at a hobby shop, I think you can get sheet styrene with the diamond pattern molded into it.
For 1/24 scale, the model railroad equivalent is 'G' scale, sometimes the model railroad manufacturers vary from 1/24 slightly, but the packaging will tell you what scale the stuff is, like G(1/24) on the package.

If you don't have a local hobby store, try an online store like www.-plastic-models.com

Yep, I have some which i'm using in my ITR. The stuff i'm using is 'OO' railroad scale which closely resmbles what you show in pics above. The 1:25 scale stuff is too big. The stuff i'm using is from these guys - http://www.slatersplastikard.com/products.htm

I use Plastruct's HO scale diamone plate for 1/25 - everything else looks too big. It comes in a nice size sheet.

BMF it after painting, it'll be good!
