WJ reverse light wire location

I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee and would like to install a back-up camera. So that it activates when the car is in reverse I am being told that I need to tap into the reverse wire. I'm hoping that I won't need to splice the reverse light wire from the rear of the truck. Thinking that maybe the wire and or the fuse for the light is somewhere inside. If it is at all possible could someone narrow my wire search down? Maybe a wire color and or location. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
