Tamiya REPSOL Honda RC211V 2002 early season 1/12

the kit was released over 12 years.

as the very first MotoGP champion bike the RC211V marks the beginning of a new era.

I used lots of after market parts to replicate the look of the real bike.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Truly an incredible work of art. Even in the super close up shots everything is amazingly clean. Love the heat staining on the exhaust and brake discs. A masterpiece!

sorry for replying your question so late...

I did the cable with the thinnest metal wire available in any Top Studio Super detail set, and the clear green/pink tube with MFH 0.4mm clear tube.

you can just make a simple knot to fix the wire on the wheel lock pin and cut off the excess part, then get the wire through the tube, the last you can fix the other end onto the chain adjuster PE.
