Porsche Carrera GT-C

This one was started in March of '05, but after the roof graft it sat in the box until about a month ago in anticipation of going to NNL West and having some Gravity Paints Porsche Sapphire Blue recently acquired. I didn't do a WIP, here are a few shots before it was finished:

Fast forward to today. I blended the roof in and added Hobby Design 20" ADV 5.01 SL wheels. I used the Tamiya kit tires, which required the front rims to be narrowed. Sapphire Blue is my current favorite Porsche color, and looks great on this one. The interior/chassis are basically OOB, in fact there is no engine since it is completely enclosed...so I can use it elsewhere! :biggrin:

First! That looks amazing! I might even say that it looks more natural than the original shape. Great vision and execution!

Well that sucks.... I've been picking away at my Carrera that I put a roof from the GT1 on too....and I was gonna use the Gravity Colors Sapphire blue too.....Thanks Bob....now I have to pick another colour.......

But......damn that thing looks incredible. Really nice work, as always.
