First time painted with nail polish (Lemon Zest) very nice fine pearl, only few changed made to this model; got rid of few trim lines, new exhaust ends and few cables under the hood. Tried few new things on this one and quite pleased with the result... one thing that lets down the overall result are too dark panel lines.

you live and learn :)

Very nice, this was one of the first Tamiya kits I built in the 90's,but I did a horrible job on it,maybe one day i'll dig it up and rebuild it.

nice!

did you do any special prep before painting with nail polish? planning to try out nail polishes too since they have a wider range of colors, but i'm not sure if doing just the standard primer will be enough.

Not at all, I've used zero primer as for most of my models.
One thing to watch out for is transparency, needed extra layers to get decent coverage. So just take it easy and spray thin but many leyers.

You may be right about the panel Lines but good work on trying some new techniques, you did a good job with the nail Polish as well. Nice work
