Harmonic balancer for the LS V8.

My 2002 ls v8 3.9 with 224k miles needs a harmonic balancer. All I can seem to find is the balancer for the v6. Ford wants $1056.00 for this dealer only part. Any suggestions on where I can find a new one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It looks like Torrie at Fast Parts Network (http://www.unleashedtuning.com/lincoln/) may be getting out of the parts business, but it may still be worth checking with him to see if he has a source for a new balancer at a better price than the dealer offers.
