Hey guys got a quick question to ask how do you test if a heater blower motor is bad it was working awesome then the heater core itself popped replaced it and now the fan won't work at all thinking it may be the switch but how would a guy hook up a toggle switch temporarily till my new one gets here its gonna be about 2 weeks till its here and it's been getting darn cold lately lol

heater blowers have resistors. these are in the air box. usually next to the blower motor. these can fail . they are wires that are made from resistance materials solid #18 wire most times. to test blower just hook up to the 12 volts , that would be max speed. lower speeds are these resistance wires . the blower switch has 4 positions most times that would be 3 resistors and the top speed NO resistor. check ground connection first.
