1997 mirage de high idle

Ok so I have a 1997 mirage with the 1.5 M/T. it idles at around 2200 rpms all the time. I have replaced the tps, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and checked for vacuum leaks. tested the iac resistance and it is on the high side but still in specs. I have been diagnosing this issue for about 2 months and im clueless. has anybody else had this issue that might now where to look for problems? thanks

even if its within spec i would suspect the iac, it might check ok but can be stuck in the high idle position. if you can remove it without to much hassle try taking it off and plugging the holes and see if the idle drops way down or engine dies

I can plug the port inside the throttle body cutting off the airflow through the iac and it idles at about 450

Update... Car is now idling at 950 rpms. It was an exhaust leak this entire time
