Has always been hard find theme around, and costantly quite pricey.
Finaly big T reissue at least Alfa Corse winning car from 1993:

http://www.tamiya.com/japan/products/24137/index.htm

despite the years remains a very nice kit to build, even with the worldwide known problem of the fitting front end.
If fair price, as I suppose, I will surely make some more of theme, probably doing my own versions for 1994 and 1995 (tamiya made 1993 and 1996 ITC).

Cant exclude, if I have time, to make my own Never Ending Story DTM saga. I like so much those cars, as well as I have plans to make a 156 wtcc car starting from Welly die cast.... :naughty::screwy:

shame at today there is no plans for reissue of the martini/bosch 96 car.

Long overdue. I built this kit quite recently (I have a few versions inThe Stash) and it works nicely apart from, as you say, that front clip.

No Michelin decals with this release?

B@#$#$# haha I just paid 50 quid for this a few months ago. Is it a full reissue or is there a chance some bits may be re-tooled?

Awesome, awesome looking car. Def buying at least one spare

Is there a way to fix the issue for the ill fitting front clip ?

Well... all right. Tamiya as usual : 2 novelties, 2 reissues, 2 novelties, 2 reissues...
And don't expect re-tooling...
It's OK for me but I would give a warmer welcome to new liveries re-issued Sierra and Escort Cosworth or, even better, as like Paolo I love those cars, to some other fantastic DTM machines : BMW M3 E30, Mercedes 190, Audi Quattro and Opel Omega.

no reissue anyway for 1996 cars. No martini and no Bosch, so Niro you took a rarities (like I just did with a martini. Same japanese guy in ebay selling theme maybe? LOL)

And nearly surely no tyre decals in the alfa corse/jagermeister models, but we must see....

Sadly, you're right... New kits come without Michelin decals on body and without tire markings. :frown:
New box-arts and instructions sheets have been "updated" without them (Source : Hobbysearch)

Somebody like Shunko will probably do new decal sheets and most probably do the missing Bosch one as well as other versions. Main thing is the base kit is available again at a good price.

Lovegt40, yeah fair enough, probably the same guy, always selling old kits. I got one and that's the main thing. Maybe some nice new PE or detail sets will follow? Think I got the PE kit.

Shunko released the Bosch decals back in February and it includes the Michelin body decals but no tire markings.

Kits reissued are 93' models and Bosch livery is on a 96' model.
Body is not the same between cars.
But we can still hope that Tamiya will reissue more DTM kits.

Is this the best Tamiya can do, reissuing old kits. Maybe they think there must be a new birth of modellers who haven't built these kits. I would love to find out why they don't release recent race cars. It can't be down to licencing problems.
Just glad that Beemax and Belkits have a better vision.

There is nothing wrong with what they are doing, I was just kid/teen when these kits were first released, and I am very happy that they are getting another run so I can get them with out having to hand over an arm and leg.
