Widebody SWB Mitsubishi Pajero

Was originally planning on doing this Aoshima kit as a conversion from the 2nd gen SWB/3-door Pajero to a Pajero Evolution but after seeing that the latter had a multilink independent rear suspension compared to the former's live axle one, decided to just do a widebody conversion.

Used a lot of tamiya putty and pioneer epoxyclay wood to sculpt the body. Painted using DS white primer (local brand made by a modeler), acrylic epoxy lemon yellow, acrylic epoxy pearl white (over the yellow) and 2k urethane clear. Decals were reprints from the tamiya lanevo5 wrc, 92 dakar pajero and a fujimi mine's evo6 kit. Hood pins and antenna is from the same lanevo5 kit, while the seats are from a fujimi kit that i don't recall which one. The headlamp lenses are an extra one from the aoshima LWB/5-door pajero kit (ordered a clear sprue replacement after I cracked the windshield, but ended up cracking the replacement too). And here it is with the other aoshima pajeros. The muddy one's my first one, built probably 6 years ago. The fieldmaster/gen 2.5 is a recent build.

thanks! i'm out of space right now (too lazy to finish the big display cabinet which has room for even all the unbuilt stuff i have) so all my finished kits are not sorted well and are displayed anywhere now. :rofl:
