Radio Display Borked 2009

A few weeks ago I noticed our radio display got completely messed up on our 2009 Camry SE. The CD player spit out all its cd's and the diplay turned off and on and now shows Chinese or Japanese characters and other times shows no characters at all. I'm still able to control the volume and change the station. Has anyone else had similar issues? Were you able to fix it?

I have heard of this problem in other cars. Take the car to a dealer and see what they propose as a fix.

One thing you can try first. I would shut the car off. Then locate the fuse that controls the audio system and remove it. Wait 30 seconds and then reinstall it. Then restart the car. It's like restarting a computer when something doesn't load properly. If this doesn't help, then the dealer is probably your best alternative.
