2000 JXi Won't start issue - ASD?

This car has been very reliable until now. While driving, the car just stopped running. Will crank but not start. All indication point to the auto shutdown circuitry. No spark, not fuel and not voltage on the 10 amp fuse for the O2 sensors. I did swap the relays around in the fuse box with no change. When cranking I do get a RPM reading on the tach so I would assume the crankshaft position sensor is good. I can't see how the coil would be bad or the camshaft position sensor being bad as I never get a voltage at the 10 amp fuse even before attempting to start the car. The only thing I can think it would be is the wiring. Any other ideas? Is the a way or any danger in by-passing the ASD?
All suggestions welcome!

Update - I replaced the distributor and the problem is fixed.
