Wiper/Indicator Malfunction

Hey,

I have a 2003 Suzuki Liana. My issues originally started with a rapid blinking right indicator, which is isolated to the front right indicator, it was intermittent at first and eventually became constant. Figured it was just a blown bulb and replaced that, on the same day (before I replaced the bulb) my wipers also started to malfunction, when I turned them on they just didn't turn on, or would move half an inch and stop. When I changed the bulb I cleaned the windscreen, the wipers lifted them and let them run through once and they worked after that.
So everything was great for a day, then the intermittent rapid blinking started again, which again became constant. Now a couple of days later I try to turn on my windscreen wipers and my right front indicator and parking light come on in headlight fashion. So definitely not a problem with the indicators ability to work. I checked the wiper fuse and it was fine, stupidly didn't think to check any others while I was there.

Does anyone have any experience with this or any idea what is wrong?
Thanks.

sounds like you might have a ground problem, make sure all the body ground bolts are clean and tight. you can put the emergency flasher on and see if all 4 bulbs on the outside of car blink, if one is not or real dim you know where to start looking. on the wiper it may not be related but you can start with the bulbs and ground

Thanks, you were right ground bolts. Who would have thought something so simple could cause such weird problems.
Thanks again!
