Have u guys seen a "K-car" on TV or magazine? They're great city cars and are very popular around the world (Euro, Japan, Hong Kong, UK...)
I don't know why there isn't any in the States...I live in New York and would love to buy one...but just can't find any. VW Polo is good k-car - very well designed, cute, great gas milage, clean, quiet, easy to find parking and more!
American just love to drive those big fat cars, big, wasteful, Gas eater, noisy, dumb designed(if you compare the Honda Civil in Japan/HK and the ones in the States you'll know what I'm talking about), polluting...etc. I call this "Anti-Engineering".
Why you need a V-8 SUV in NYC? No matter how great your pick-up speed can be I will see you in the front by a red light anyway.

Any thoughts?

Who wants a slow, quiet, & little junky car? NOT ME! Its not just the US look at the German cars, BMW uses a V12 and soon to be 500HP V10 for M5. Think about what would happen when that big V8 SUV rear ends you @ that red light, then you'll wish you had something even larger than what hit you. No one car is better than any other, they all break Jap or US.

first of all this is the wrong area for this post, secondly the cars you speak of have their place but there will always be a market for luxury and there will always be a market for ass kicking so you will jsut have to share the road
