Thanks for that information. Any idea how many Intriques (or % of total built) are still on the road?

I actually had a bad ignition "SWITCH"
The car was dying with the key in the on position and sometimes when I turned the car on the dash lights would flash off and on like I was turing the key back and fourth.
This is NOT covered in the recall.
The recall consists of them putting a plastic piece into each of your 2 keys.
It changes the slot that is in the key to a round hole so the weight of the keys cant turn the lock cylinder.

 My wife has to take her 2000 Intrigue in next week to do the recall , yeah make the holes smaller . , some repair. I had just replaced the switch right before we got the recall because it was shutting the engine off while driving it. I had hope they would return my money for the new switch , but no it's my problem they say :frown: . We have 3 sets of keys so i told her to take 2 sets in and i will leave mine as is . I never hang crap on my keys so i'm not worried about it. JIM
