The next R36 Nissan GT-R will also have electric power (hybrid), the McLaren P1 does as well.
Everyone is headed in the electric power direction it seems.
The issue is the weight though.
Hydrogen power cars may have an edge in weight. Toyota will be debuting one in 2015. But the protection necessary for the highly explosive gas tank is sure to weigh a bunch. :disappoin Of course the plus is that no battery pack is necessary, so that's a huge savings in weight.
