I have a 1988 k1500 just rebuilt the motor and got all hooked up
And it ran great idled normally and sounded very clean
I turned it off the next day I started it. It wouldn't idle its running ditch
To the point where it dies replaced ecm map sensor,tps
CTS checked all grounds and still can't find the problem
Please help!!!!!

High fuel pressure, stuck press reg in the TB, bad coolant temp sensor most common issues, weak vacuum signal to map sensor also.

What is a "violent temp"?
Put a scan tool on that vehicle. Read the data stream. Tell us what the coolant temperature is, what the short- and long-term fuel trim is, and tell us how many O2 cross-counts it has.
