ok so my motor started knocking a little (sounded like it needed oil) went to do a oil change and found i needed new barrings while i was at it we replaced the entire crankshaft and barrings, well it was turning fine (we used lucus engine lube) we mount motor i to motor brakets and go to attack transmission and flywheel nor crankshaft pully will budge in any direction we removed spark plugs with no help, what will cause this? we are trying to turn with tourq wrench and entensions it wont budge

What happens if you pull the tranny back away from the engine, does the crank turn then?

Can the torque convert be rotated? What I'm trying to find out is if the TC is being jammed into the back of the engine and preventing the engine from rotating.

yea torque converter can be turned with the tip of your fingers easily but its not bolted to the flywheel

Did you use the correct bolts on the back of the crank for the flex plate? If they're wrong and too long that will prevent the crank from turning.

Well this is just beyond strange. I hate to say it, but I think you're stuck pulling the engine back out to inspect it for damage that might've occurred during the installation.

what could have caused damage?

Bang, bump, bend, misalignment...I don't know, I wasn't there. All I know is that you said it turned before installing it, but it wouldn't turn after installing it. To me logic dictates that something happened during the installation process.
