Just got talking to a salesman I've been pestering. They have a black EVO VIII, which they have had in stock for probably a month. With the end of the month on monday, he said swing by at around 4:00 PM and he'll cut a sweet deal on the car for me. They got another one coming in and I think they are selling much slower than they anticipated. Does anyone know what invoice is on these things?

I just ordered mine today for 31k with carbon fiber spoiler, speedo kit, and air dams. Supposedly its being shipped from Japan. The dealers around me has 0 evo's except for one dealer which has 3 in stock. Red, black, and a silver, but the silver was sold last night. The test drive was fun as hell as i was doing circles around the parking lot =)

When I first spoke to him, they were selling the black one for sticker. A local Subaru dealer had a STI in stock and was asking 2k more than sticker. I'm guessing the Mitsu dealer would let it go at invoice right now if I wave a wad of cash in front of them.

Yea the dealers here wont let anyone test drive unless you do the paperwork, so I guess you have to go in with a check and look a bit serious to get a good deal on it. I did notice a lot of people been buying their EVO's less than MSRP on the other forums, but then there are some that are paying 10k more than MSRP. I went from 34k to 31k at the dealer, so I'm happy with the price.

Yeha, i got mine for 25K from the dealer... I didn't even consider ordering any of the extras from the factory, i have done, and will do all mine on my own... its also cheaper.
