My niece's husband has a 1989 C1500 pickup with a 5.0 engine, 4 speed manual tranny. You cannot bleed the clutch, if you bleed it, you have no clutch. My husband has tried everything he could think of, and it still will not work. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

A clutch has to be bleed out good and proper to work right.
He is either not bleeding it right or it has other problems besides bleeding out clutch.
For us to help we need more information .
Have him give more details on it like how he is bleeding it and what the clutch is doing or not doing.
I could have be a problem with the pressure plate or clutch plate or master cylinder or slay cylinder or even clutch linkage.
More info please?
