Transmission Axle Seal Leak Repair

Very common issue and I had a chance to show just how to fix it and what is causing this problem. The kit to fix the source of the problem is very cheap right now from Ford, so take a look and fix yours before the price goes up. The leak can be serious enough to burn up the trans from low line pressure. Hope this helps, the video turned out great!

My 2012 was repaired by Ford under warranty and they wanted to flush the fluid saying it was overdue. That's not what the manual indicated but I agreed since there could be anything left in the transmission after the repair. Now the transmission is slipping occasionally. It's not frequent and not related to being cold or warm. I cannot identify a pattern so that it can be replicated. Have you heard of this?
