It's a small black threaded knob that screws into the valve cover- when I replaced the PCV valve tonight I noticed it (the knob) was cracked and had melted a little on one side. I don't know of anywhere on the internet to find illustrations like that. If you need I diagram and it is within our systems capability I can post it for you just email me with what you need. Thnaks Ok 236 is GM part number 10198806 it is called a PCV Valve Retainer.
