2001 impala starts fine won't take fuel

have a 2001 chevy impala, starts fine, won't take fuel. has fuel pressure up to fuel injectors, won't accelerate. anyone else have this problem??? if so...where do I need to look???

didn't see any error codes...

3.4 or 3.8?

I would be checking back pressure, for a possible cat problem.......

If a 3.8, disconnect the MAF and see if it runs better....also check the vac line to the f/p reg. for fuel....

Last time fuel filter replaced?

Is this misfiring at idle?

if you think its a clogged cat try removing the ox sensor on the manifold, see if it accelerates. HFT has a really inexpensive back pressure tester. What does your air filter look like ? when was the last time you changed your fuel filter ?
