I don't know about you...
But I wouldn't turbo any engine with over 100,000km on it.
Just my opinion...

Depends on the condition of the motor. If you are unsure of its history, then I wouldn't or the other option would be tear it apart and rebuild. Then you can't go wrong. Chances are if its been beaten on alot in the past, it will prob give you some wear problems.

Just like said above, if you know the history of the car just check the compression, belts, fluids then go for it. My friends have boosted their cars at 70k and they are still running. If you don't know the history it would be best to rebuild.
Good luck.

Just basics like pistons, rods and a gasket you could get as a package for under a grand. It would be a better idea however to first pick up all the turbo components and a complete fuel system upgrade.

I wouldn't worry about it. My GTC had 152,000 on it with the turbo pushing 13PSI, problem free. It however; had a built up engine from the factory.

If it is a high mileage engine I would suggest a rebuilt with some hardened internals and some lower compression pistons.
