Are these chains the right size for my tires?

I have an unopened package of snow chains. On the package, it saysTire Sizes
10-15 LT
10-16.5LT
30-9.5-15LT
The tires on my car are size P265-65-R17.

The chain size and tire size seem to be using a completely different numbering scheme. How can I know if the chains are the right size for the tires?

I'm no expert on tire chains but right off the top of my head , I'd say that they won't fit your tires ! Your tires are 17 " and the package shows they fit 15 " & 16.5 " rims . They sound more like they are intended for use on trucks than passenger vehicles . The " LT " listed in the sizes indicates they are for " light trucks " . Just my $0.02 worth of advice ! " Worth every penny that you paid for it " !
