No power to fuel pump after plug wire change

Haven't had to ask a specific question in awhile, could always find it. 96 Jimmy 4.3 changed the plugs and wires and wouldn't start. Did driver side and checked and started OK then went to pass side. Lots of "stuff" in way at dist cap and had to force my way around and whatnot to get new wires on cap. Been changing plugs and wires on my cars for 40 years and never had this problem. Went to start and no fire. Thought I'd messed up coil wire so redid. Nada. Finally figured out I didn't hear the fuel pump coming on. I know there's a fuse and relay somewhere but could I (did I) have done something to cause this? Anyone's expertise would greatly be appreciated.

No power to coil and fuel pump/relay, look at the fuses in the under hood distr. box.

Don't want to sound dumb but.. where's that box under hood? Have seen nothing I would consider a fuse box there.
