Is the MAFS for a sr20det engine compatible with a ka24de? I need a new one bad and the only one I could find cheap(ebay) was for an sr20det. Thanks.

the sensors are set up to be compatible with the engine they are made for, so i doubt the SR MAFS would work on a KA. if you need a new one bad, go to a Nissan dealer and order it, or try to find one at a local junkyard.

I figured that much, I just had that little bit of hope that it might work. Oh well, looks like I'm gonna head out to the junkyard tomorrow. Should I find it from another s14 model or does it matter? Also, does it matter if it's from a KA24E? Thanks for the help.

You can't use a MAFS from a different motor unless if you re-program your ecu to accept the new sensor signals. I'm not quite sure if the KA24E sensor will work or not, but to be on the safe side I'd just try to find one on another KA24DE.

Any one know where I can buy a MAFS? I didn't think they'd have one at the auto parts store down the street, and I've searched google for it and came up on blanks, and ideas?

Yeah, I was gonna stop by the junkyard today, I don't think they have any 95'+ of any cars, specially a 240. Well, thanks for everything, and if the junkyard doesn't work out, looks like I gotta head to the nissan dealer.
