h22 swap on 98 Accord

Whats year engine should I get if I wanted to do a h22 swap into a 1998 accord coupe 4 cyl. I heard that the older 97 and below were better because it doesn't have the immobilizer like the 98 and above h22. So what year h22 would work best with my 1998 accord. Also I am planning on getting it converted to manual from an automatic.

well the bad part is yes the newer ecu's came with an immoblizer and another bad part is its illegal to put an older year motor in a car and the motor has to have less miles than the current motor. its sux but you can hopefully find away around some of it if ya look around maybe.good luck though
