it remembers to me what sometimes happens to pilots as Bob Wollek, Colin mc rae, clay regazzoni,Gunnar Nilsson,Richard Burns....life sometimes is really incredible.
We can just pray for this great pilot.

I hope his family have all the support and care that can be given to them.

He had a brain surgery yesterday afternoon by one of the most specialist french surgeon.
I think coma is due to surgery not to accident itself, he had been placed in coma to prevent after-surgery issues and pain.
informations are sometimes contradictory on french TV and news, they firstly said that vital prognosis wasn't engaged, and after surgery they now say it is... :dunno:
So it makes me think it's really serious...
He was skying (offtracks !!) with his son, who alert rescue if I understood well.

from what I read, he was fine and coherent after the crash and the injury took effect later. I believe it was a hemorrhage. Scary stuff. He had a bad motorcycle wreck after he retired as well. It seems he is safer behind the wheel of an F1. I hope he is able to make a full recovery.

Never liked the guy since he took out Damon Hill but hope he makes a full recovery. Life in the fast lane can be a dangerous place.

Too bad that a human being is fighting for his life and all some can do is dwell on the past and mention something that got nothing to do with the current situation!
I really don't care if you like the guy, or not!! show your respect and keep your personal opinion about him to yourself!! this is not the time nor the place

My thoughts are with his Family
Hope you'll pull through Michael!!

Think he was only being light humoured, take it easy or it gos off track.

he was so so brill and made f1 great for me.

I hope too that he makes a full recovery and all is well.

Life is weird and can be very cruel.
Let us hope he will get through this and be back to where he belongs, with his family.
