Looks great! Most people don't realize how much masking for the black paint you have to do on this kit.

My dad had that car growing up so I know the details on the car and I say you have built a great representation!!!! Awesome job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He also had a 928 that my buddy and I took out on the streets when he was out of town. We were only 15 years old thinking we were pimps cruising around Atlanta in a brand new Porsche!!!! I made chalk lines in the garage to make sure we put it back in the exact spot. :biggrin: :cool: :headshake

Agreed!! it was absolutely agonizing. Unfortunately I am a Porschephile and have six more of these in my stash to build, not looking forward to them lol.

Did you airbrush or use spray can? What was your prepping process. I can never get TS-17 to look like that.

Straight from the can this was. I prepped with soap, water, and a green scotchbrite pad, laid down two coats of white primer, three coats of TS-17. Clear is 4 coats of Model master Ultra gloss clear lacquer. I then wet sanded using 4K, 6K, and finally 12,00o paper, polished, then wax.
