99 Honda CRV wont start?

Water pump went out on my CRV I replaced it and the timing belt at the same time, after about 2 months or so wife went to store and then when she got back in the CRV drove about 250 feet or so and it died...

Towed it home, checked the timing was a little off (3 Teeth) Bought new timing belt and realigned all the marks, and put the new belt on. Still will not start...

Checked Fuel and found moisture in it so replaced the filter and drained the tank added fresh gas and no better

Checked the plugs for fire, they looked good and it was firing (Orange but firing) then the injectors for pulse...All was pulsing fine.

Now Im puzzled?

Is 3 teeth enough to bend the valves? I asked if it made a weird noise when it died, she said no...There has been no restraints when Im turning the motor over other than the compression...

Is there a sensor or something I should check? Even though no check engine light was never on...

Any help or insight on anything about this?

It sounds like your crank position sensor may be bad. No light if it fails. If you do replace, I recommend getting entire assembly (including pigtail). Lot of info on this online and better than I can explain how to replace. I replaced the CPS on my 2001 CRV with no problems.

Did you try the ignition switch cause that seems to be an ongoing problem..
