Changing Auto to Manual trans

Doing some # crunchin and i just wondered if ne1 can help me out. How much $$$ would it cost to change an automatic transmission in a 93-97 supra to make it a manual? Just curious, n thanx for ne info.

more than its worth probably...
if you are making insane amounts of power that the stock tranny cant handle, i would look into having the tranny built
built tranny + high stall torque converter = boost off the line = zoom

well i got an estimate for my 90 mk3 and labor was $1000 not includeing parts

auto to manual is not worth the time and money. you would be much better off just buying a 6-spd supra. the number that is generally accepted is ~$5000.

why would you want to, yeah changing gears is fun. But hell, the automatic TT supras(assuming that's what you have) are actually faster than the 6-speeds cause you can hold more boost. If your talking about putting a 6-speed in a n/a, it's really not worth the time or the money, they didn't come in those cars for a reason, you don't have the hp to really need a 6-speed if your n/a, no offense but it's really not worth the time or money.
