Zwaag 06-20-2003, 03:01 PM The floor comes looking like it has no carpet. It does come with all seats but I noticed that before you glue in the rear seat, your supposed to put in this panel that is pretty detailed for something that is going to be covered up. So I left out the seats and used a spare racing seat and wheel Blowncivic1320 06-20-2003, 04:37 PM who makes that audi TT u have posted? Zwaag 06-20-2003, 05:18 PM it's a majesto(spelling?) diecast. Not a rotary. Rotary conversions are just very common for older small cars like the 510. B: A VG30DETT in a 510??? Show us pics man. That sounds pretty cool. michigan02 06-20-2003, 07:18 PM satsuns.com for the vg and other swaps in 510s Heres what I am trying to make my 510 model look like I just but some of the supplies today anyone know where i can find weld racings tyle drag wheels? Layla's Keeper 06-20-2003, 07:34 PM Weld style drag wheels? Easy. Revell drag kits (like their newer funny cars and Pro Stocks) carry them, as do many of the larger resin casters such as Perry's Resin, Drag Racing Specialties, or The Good Stuff. michigan02 06-20-2003, 07:57 PM Thanks Oct Drag Racing Specialties sound slike a good one maybe find wheelie bars to. I searched google no luck do you know website for them? thanks, John Layla's Keeper 06-20-2003, 08:17 PM :sorry: I oopsed with DRS. They're a slot car chassis manufacturer. Don't worry about their product line. But Perry's Resin (if they ever get their product catalog on their new site working) should have what you need. If not, the wheels you're looking for can be found in Revell Pro Stock kits. michigan02 06-21-2003, 01:02 PM thanks again. Also does anyone know what would be the easiest way to do the above flames on my 510 kit? I doubt I have skills to hand paint something that small is there a way I can print on that model decal paper and apply them that way? Thanks, JOhn PS where can i purchase reasonable decal paper caus ethe hobby store wanted like 25 bucks give me a break! irupp33 06-21-2003, 01:23 PM im suprised not many ppl have built this kit. michigan02 06-21-2003, 08:34 PM Hey Oct i took your advice I drove out to http://www.greatlakeshobbies.com/ picked up a spy vs spy funny car and got a good deal the wheels, wheelie bar, and some chutes oh also some fire extinglishers. Project 510 begins :) CamaroSSBoy346 06-21-2003, 08:53 PM A: 510's came with a four-cylinder version of the L series engine in the 240-280Z's. Not a rotary. Rotary conversions are just very common for older small cars like the 510. Nope. I can tell you is, it fit like it was made for this kit (I dont have it due to the fact that i crushed it because it didnt want to go together right) still have the 300ZX engine somewhere... Purpura Delujo 06-21-2003, 10:42 PM Sweet, another Datto coming through. Why you got wire wheels on a Civic though? Zwaag 06-21-2003, 11:02 PM I built that when the model first came out. I figured it would be like the revell ITR and everyone would have it. so, I wanted to be different. Its got hydros and two subs on the rear seat, too:bigthumb: Purpura Delujo 06-22-2003, 01:10 AM Oh ok nice, although I still think wires on Civics look out of place it is different and stands out from everyone elses Civics! Good to see you put the juice and some woofers in it aswell. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
