Hi guys. I have the hobby design pe set for my tamiya taisan 911 and im curious about the brakes. The instructions simply give you the order they go together. My thoughts are,

How do you assemble them? As in, glue every piece together? And with what type of glue?

Do you guys paint the discs when done or shine them up?

My apologies for asking a newbie question. This is my first time working with a full pe disc brake (ive used a tamiya pe set but it simply had the one piece to go over the molded disc). I also searched briefly and couldn't find anything. Many thanks in advance.

I don't know these specific parts, but normally if I have full P/E brake discs I glue all parts together with CA (super)glue. If I want a steel disc I leave the assembly as it is or produce some scratches with the disc mounted to a turning tool. If I want a ceramic disc for example, I prime and paint the whole assembled lot.

I glued parts of a brake disc from HD with using of a simple tool for correct matching. This was two rods 0,8mm dia fixed on the smooth surface.
